Week Nineteen

I’m writing from Philadelphia. I’m attending the Black Male Educator Convening hosted by the Center for Black Educator Development.

Writing is an isolated endeavor—lots of time reading and writing by yourself.

Being in spaces with many educators, and hearing the experiences, research, and thought provoking ideas from others have generated many new thoughts.

So, I plan to dance in community tonight, and then I will move into a full week of vacation with high hopes of lots of writing.

You won’t hear from next Friday but know I’m still working.
